Start here:

You should use this opportunity to go straight into a coaching related task, then repeat this process until it becomes second nature - the way you approach every task.

Step 1 - Define the task

Ask yourself:

What am I about to do?
What is the single goal of this task?
What would count as success here?

Examples:

write one clear post
record one short teaching
coach this client toward the real pattern
explain one idea simply

Step 2 - Set the challenge correctly

Ask:

Is this too easy, too difficult, or about right?
Do I need to narrow it, simplify it, or challenge myself more?

The aim is not comfort.

The aim is a level of challenge that demands engagement without creating overload.

Step 3 - Decide the feedback signal

Ask:

How will I know this is working?
What real-time signal will tell me I am on track?

Examples:

the sentence becomes clearer
the client becomes more engaged
the explanation becomes simpler
the conversation moves forward
I can feel momentum building

Step 4 - Reduce divided attention

Ask:

What is likely to pull my attention away?
What can I remove right now?

This might mean:

closing tabs
silencing notifications
putting the phone away
clearing the desk
deciding not to self-evaluate during the task

Step 5 - Recall 3 similar moments

Now remind yourself of three times you have already done something similar well enough.

Not perfect moments.

Just real evidence that this kind of engagement is already available to you.

These could be:

three strong sessions
three useful posts
three times you explained something clearly
three times you found your rhythm once you began

The purpose is to remind the nervous system:

I have entered similar territory before.

This reduces unnecessary novelty and helps the task feel more familiar and doable.

These moments should be from within your coaching practice or something highly similar

Step 6 - Trigger the flow anchor

Now use the kinaesthetic anchor you built in the previous lesson

For example:

touching two fingers together in a specific and unusual way

Allow the feeling of that resource anchor to arrive in your nervous system.

Important principle:

Each time you use the anchor, you are not only triggering it - you are strengthening it.

That happens because you are:

recalling previous flow-supportive states
feeling those states in the body
firing the same anchor
then moving straight into action

So the anchor becomes linked not only to remembered flow, but to real present-moment task entry.

Step 7 - Begin immediately

Once the anchor is fired, begin the task.

Do not pause to inspect the state too much.

Move directly into:

the first sentence
the first question
the first explanation
the first action

That is what closes the loop.

The anchor should not become a ritual for waiting.

It should become a bridge into engagement with the task.
